
BOM Line
The BOM Line object represents an individual component or material required to manufacture a finished product. Each BOM Line belongs to a Bill of Material (BOM) and defines the Product, Stock Item, required quantity, unit of measure, issue method, scrap percentage, and sequence used during the manufacturing process.
A single Bill of Material can contain multiple BOM Lines, each representing a raw material, component, or sub-assembly needed to manufacture the finished product. During production, BOM Lines guide material consumption and ensure the correct components are issued in the proper sequence.
Why is it Used?
The BOM Line object is used to:
