Inventory Transfer

The Inventory Transfer object manages the movement of inventory between warehouses or inventory locations within the same organization. It acts as the transfer request header, containing general information about the transfer such as the source warehouse, destination warehouse, legal entity, transfer type, requested by, transfer date, and transfer status.

Each Inventory Transfer can contain one or more Inventory Transfer Lines, which specify the individual products, stock items, quantities, and inventory locations being transferred. Throughout the transfer lifecycle, the system updates inventory balances, maintains warehouse synchronization, and records inventory movements for complete traceability.

This object ensures inventory is transferred accurately while maintaining stock integrity, operational efficiency, and a complete audit trail across warehouse operations.
