Stock Item Creation Steps

Follow the steps below to create a new Stock Item in Cloudy Inventory.

Step 1: Navigate to Stock Items

Go to App Launcher → Stock Items and click New.

Step 2: Select the Product

Select the Product for which you want to create the Stock Item.

Example:

• Product: Sedan Car

Step 3: Enter Stock Item Information

Provide the required Stock Item details, such as:

• Stock Item Name
• Stock Code
• Warehouse
• Base UOM
• Unit of Measure
• Item Type
• Purchase Price
• List Price

Step 4: Configure Inventory Settings

Configure the inventory-related settings based on your business requirements:

• Active
• Default Stock Item
• Track Inventory
• Lot Tracking
• Serial Tracking
• Expiry Date Tracking
• Tax Included in Price
• Tax Rate

Step 5: Configure Additional Information (Optional)

Enter additional details, if required:

• Vendor
• Barcode / QR Code
• Product Dimensions (Length, Width, Height)
• Weight
• Volume
• Product Image

Step 6: Save the Stock Item

Click Save to create the Stock Item.
