Inventory Transaction

The Inventory Transaction object records every movement of inventory throughout its lifecycle within Cloudy Inventory. It serves as the inventory audit trail, capturing all stock movements resulting from procurement, warehouse operations, manufacturing, inventory transfers, sales fulfillment, returns, and inventory adjustments.

Each Inventory Transaction is linked to the corresponding Inventory, Product, Stock Item, Warehouse, Inventory Location, and source business documents such as Goods Receipt, Purchase Order, Sales Order, Production Batch, and Inventory Transfer. It maintains detailed information including quantities before and after the transaction, costs, dimensions, lot and serial tracking, and transaction type.

This object provides complete inventory traceability, ensuring every inventory movement is accurately recorded for operational control, auditing, reporting, and financial reconciliation.
