Inventory Allocation

The Inventory Allocation object represents the reservation and allocation of inventory for business transactions such as Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts, and Quotes. It ensures that inventory is reserved at a specific Warehouse and Inventory Location before fulfillment, preventing stock conflicts and improving inventory accuracy.

Inventory Allocation acts as the bridge between inventory availability and order fulfillment by linking Products, Stock Items, Warehouses, Inventory Locations, and Inventory records.
