Cloudy Revenue Inventory Knowledge Base

Inventory Creation Steps:

Unlike most master records, Inventory records are generally system-generated based on inventory transactions.

Step 1: Create a Product

Create an active Product and related Stock Item.

Step 2: Receive Inventory

Create a Purchase Order, Goods Receipt, and Goods Receipt Line for the Product.

Step 3: Select Warehouse & Inventory Location

Assign the received inventory to the appropriate Warehouse and Inventory Location.

Step 4: Save the Goods Receipt

Complete and save the Goods Receipt.

Step 5: Inventory Created Automatically

The system automatically creates or updates the Inventory record with the received quantities, valuation, warehouse, and storage location.
