Cloudy Revenue Inventory Knowledge Base

Post-Setup Requirement

This application needs to be configured after Cloudy Inventory  package installation and before the end user begins using it through the user interface (UI).

  1. Search app :- Search for the “ Cloudy Inventory” in the app launchers search box. 
  1. Create a Legal Entity Record 

    Method 1: Create the First Legal Entity (Using Cloudy Inventory Setup)

    Use this method when no Legal Entity exists in the organization.

  • Open the App Launcher.
  • Navigate to Cloudy Inventory Setup.
  • Click Create Legal Entity.
  • New Legal entity is created 

  Method 2: Create a Legal Entity from the Legal Entities Tab

  Use this method when one or more Legal Entities already exist.

  • Open the App Launcher.
  • Navigate to the Legal Entities tab.
  • Click New.
  • Enter the required information.
  • Click Save.
  1. Configure Payment Gateway – Click on Legal Entity Name & Select “Setup” tab. Click on the Payment Gateway tab. Now add Payment Gateway with Type, default, active, Payment Methods details by enabling Credit cards, ACH, Signature Options.
  1. User Entity mapping : – Now, Legal Entity is mapping with the user by selecting Cloudy Inventory Setup Tab & assign default Legal Entity to user & save.
  1. Site Setup : To set up a Site, click the Setup (gear icon) → type “Sites” in the Quick Find box → select Sites → click New, then enter the required site details.
  1. Remote Site Settings :  Add below mentioned Remote Site Settings manually in org,
    1. For Strip Payment – https://api.stripe.com
    2. For Signature Evidence – https://api.ipify.org
    3. For Authorized.Net Payment – https://apitest.authorize.net

To add Remote Site Setting,  Click on Setup(gear icon) ⇒ type ‘Remote Site Setting’ in Quick  Find ⇒ Select & Click to New Remote Site

  1. Trusted URL : Add below mentioned Trusted URL manually in org,
  1. For Strip Payment – https://api.stripe.com
  2. For Signature Evidence – https://api.ipify.org
  3. For Authorized.Net Payment – https://apitest.authorize.net

To add Trusted URL,  Click on Setup(gear icon) ⇒ type ‘Trusted URL’ in Quick  Find ⇒ Select & Click to New Trusted URL
