Credit Line
The Credit Line object represents individual line items on a Credit Note in Cloudy Business Ops 360. Each Credit Line corresponds to a specific product or service for which a credit is being issued. While the Credit Note summarizes the total credit amount, Credit Lines provide granular detail for individual items, including quantity, pricing, tax, and reason for credit.
Credit Lines are essential for accurate financial adjustments, traceability, and reporting, ensuring that credits applied to invoices are precise and well-documented.
Key Features
- Link to Credit Note: Each Credit Line is associated with a parent Credit Note via a master-detail relationship, rolling up totals automatically.
- Invoice & Item Reference: Can link to an Invoice Line, Item, and Item Variant, ensuring traceability to the original billed product or service.
- Reason Tracking: The Reason for Credit picklist allows standardized categorization of credits (Damaged Goods, Pricing Error, Returns).
- Quantity & Pricing: Tracks Quantity, Unit Price, and automatically calculates Total Amount.
- Tax Management: Supports Tax % and Tax Rate lookup for proper tax calculations.
