Layout designer

The Layout Designer is the final assembly stage where you structure the overall flow and composition of your document. In this tab, you visually construct your document by dragging and dropping pre-built components into a layout grid. If you once save the layout designer without any data then it will add placeholder fields in row.

  • Component Library → The panel provides access to:
    1. Template Sections →  All sections you created (e.g., Content & Related List sections).
    2. Signers: Required signer fields for signature blocks.
    3. Global Variables →  Dynamic system values like TODAY DATE, CURRENT TIME, PAGE BREAK, and LINE BREAK.
  • Layout Grid Management → Arrange and structure your document using rows. You can:
    1. Add Rows →  Create new rows to hold content.
    2. Adjust Columns → Define the width of each element within a row using percentages (e.g., 25%, 50%, 100%).
    3. Rearrange →  Easily change the order of rows and components to control the sequence of content in your document.
  • Layout Preview  The Layout Preview shows a visual representation of how the assembled components will appear on the final generated document.

Note: The created template sections and signers must be added to the layout; otherwise, they will not be displayed in the document.
