Document Template
This is the master template used for creating actual documents. It defines the structure, content,
behavior, and workflow of documents, allowing users to generate consistent, branded, and legally compliant documents quickly.
Check box Functionality:
The following describes the function of each checkbox on the Document Template object :
- Status: Indicates whether the template is active or inactive. Only active templates can be used to generate documents.
- Show Page Numbers: Displays page numbers on the generated document for easier navigation and reference.

- Enable Signature: Allows the template to include signature fields so recipients can sign the document digitally.
- Email Notification on Creation: Sends an automatic email notification to recipients when the document is created.
- Email Notification on Reminder: Sends a reminder email to recipients who have not yet signed the document.
- Email Notification on Completion: Sends a confirmation email to all relevant parties once the document is fully signed and completed.
- Email Notification on Rejection: Sends a notification if a signer rejects or declines to sign the document.
- Email Notification on Expiration: Notifies signer when a document has expired without being signed.
- Expiry Email Sent to All ? : Send an expiration email notification to all signers when the signing order type is set to ordered.
- Enable Redirect: Redirects the signer to a specific URL after completing the signing process.
- Default Site Settings: Uses predefined site settings for document generation, such as branding, URL, or access permissions.
- Enable Welcome Page: Shows a welcome page to the signer before they start signing, providing instructions or context.
- Enable Verification Code: Adds an extra layer of security by requiring the recipient to enter a one-time verification code sent to their email.
