Template RelatedList Config

The Template RelatedList Config defines how related child records are displayed within a document generated from a template. This configuration allows you to include lists of related data (e.g., Opportunity Products, Contacts, or Tasks) in a structured and meaningful way, ensuring that documents accurately reflect Salesforce data.

Additionally, the Template RelatedList Config allows users to apply custom CSS, giving full control over the appearance and styling of the related list table and its content, including fonts, colors, borders, spacing, and other formatting options.

Check box Functionality:

The following describes the function of each checkbox on the Template RelatedList Config object :

Checkbox Field Purpose
Show Footer When enabled, displays a footer at the bottom of the related list table in the document.
Display Related List Title? When enabled, it shows the title of the related list table (e.g., “Opportunity Products”) at the top of the section in the document for clarity and context.
Apply outer border ? This feature allows you to control the border styling specifically for the outer edges of tables in your documents.
Include Total Row Enable this option to automatically display a summary row at the bottom of your table, calculating and showing totals for numeric columns such as quantities, amounts, or other values.
Show Footer Enable this option to display a customizable footer section immediately after your table.
Use Custom HTML/CSS Enable this option to apply advanced customization using your own HTML and CSS code.
