About the Internship
We are looking for a creative and motivated UX/UI Designer Intern to join our design team for a 6-month internship program. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in user-centered design, real-world projects, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Internship Structure & Stipend
- First 3 Months: Unpaid internship
- Last 3 Months: ₹5,000 per month stipend
- Performance-Based Benefit:
Based on the intern’s performance during the first 2 months, the company may choose to provide a partial stipend or financial support for the remaining internship duration, at its discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
- Conduct basic user research and usability testing
- Collaborate with product managers and developers to implement designs
- Design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for web and/or mobile applications
- Maintain and contribute to design systems and style guides
- Iterate designs based on feedback and usability insights
- Stay updated with the latest UX/UI trends and best practices
Qualifications & Skills
- Basic understanding of UX/UI design principles
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar
- Knowledge of user-centered design and responsive design concepts
- Ability to accept feedback and improve designs accordingly
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred (Good to Have)
- Portfolio showcasing design work (academic, personal, or freelance projects)
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Experience with prototyping and usability testing
- Understanding of mobile-first and accessibility principles
