Debit Line
The Debit Line object represents individual line items on a Debit Note in Cloudy Business Ops 360. Each Debit Line corresponds to a specific product or service for which a debit is being issued. While the Debit Note summarizes the total debit amount, Debit Lines provide detailed tracking for each item, including quantity, pricing, tax, and reason for debit.
Debit Lines are essential for accurate financial adjustments, traceability, and reporting, ensuring that additional charges or corrections applied to bills are precise and well-documented.
Key Features
- Link to Debit Note and Bill Line: Each Debit Line is associated with a parent Debit Note via a master-detail relationship, and optionally linked to a Bill Line for traceability.
- Item & Variant Tracking: Tracks the exact Item and Item Variant for which the debit is issued.
- Reason Tracking: Reason for Debit picklist ensures standardized categorization of debits.
- Quantity & Pricing: Tracks Quantity, Unit Price, and automatically calculates Total Amount.
- Tax Management: Supports Tax % and Tax Rate lookup for proper tax calculations.
